How can I browse your font collection?

You can explore our full font collection and try our fonts instantly and on-demand by using our custom type tester tools.

Do you offer custom font design or modifications?

Yes, we provide custom font design or modifications for a fee. Please contact us at ez@eazyfonts.com to start a conversation.

Licensing

What is a font license?

A font license gives you the right to use a font in certain and specified ways. You do not own the font itself. The Font License specifies the terms and conditions of use and, once you finalize the purchase of the license, is a legally binding contract between you and Eazy Fonts. Visit our Licensing page to review all of our licensing options.

Licenses are a one-time payment with no ongoing fees. If your usage grows, you’ll need to upgrade your license.

All licenses are worldwide and never expire.

We offer licenses for desktop, web, and app use. Visit our Licensing page for more details.

What is an End User License Agreement (EULA)?

A End User License Agreement (EULA) is a legal agreement between Eazy Fonts and You (the licensee) that outlines how you can use the font.

It defines allowed uses—such as for print, web, apps, or trials—along with restrictions like redistribution, resale, or modification. The EULA protects Eazy Fonts’ intellectual property while clearly setting your rights and responsibilities.

Visit our Licensing page to review all of our options and agreements.

Are there limits on a perpetual license?

You may use the fonts indefinitely, provided you stay in compliance with the license terms you originally purchased. No renewal is required. If you anticipate exceeding these limits, you need to upgrade your license to remain compliant.

Which font license is right for me?

We offer licenses for Desktop, Web, and App use. Not sure which one you need? Great initial questions to ask yourself:

  • Will you use the font in print or design software? ➡️ Desktop License
  • Will the font appear dynamically on a website? ➡️ Web License
  • Is it for use in a mobile or desktop app? ➡️ App License

Review our Licensing options before purchasing to choose the one that best fits your project needs.

Where do I find the font licensing agreements on your website?

You can review all of our font licensing options and agreements on our Licensing page. Please review the options and agreements carefully before purchasing to choose the one that best fits your project needs. There are no refunds after purchase.

Can I license a single font style?

Yes, you can license a single font style. You can review all of our font licensing options and agreements on our Licensing page.

Do you offer different licensing agreements than those shown on your website?

Yes, but we recommend reviewing all of the FAQ and Licensing pages first. If you don’t see a license agreement that fits your needs—such as OEM or enterprise use–please contact us at ez@eazyfonts.com to discuss a custom agreement.

Can I use fonts for a client's project?

You may use fonts to design a client’s project under your license, but the client must purchase their own license for their own use once the project is complete.

Please review our Licensing options and agreements.

Can I share your fonts with my client or contractor?

No. Clients must obtain their own license. Contractors may use fonts only for your project under your license terms. Your license terms must include enough seats to cover Contractor(s) usage.

Who is responsible for purchasing the font license when multiple subsidiaries operate under a parent company?

The font license must be purchased by the legal entity (e.g. parent company) using the font. If multiple subsidiaries will use the font, each must have its own license–unless the license explicitly permits use across multiple entities under the same parent.

All current licenses are limited to a single entity. Please review our Licensing options, and Contact Us at ez@eazyfonts.com if you need enterprise or multi-entity coverage to ensure proper licensing and legal compliance.

I am a graphic designer/studio, can I share your fonts with my client or contractor?

No. Clients must obtain their own license(s). Contractors may use fonts only for your project under your license terms. Your license terms must include enough seats to cover your Contractor(s) usage.

Please review our Licensing options to ensure proper licensing and legal compliance.

Can I use fonts in AI or generative tools?

No, use in generative or artificial intelligence applications is strictly prohibited under our EULA.

How do I know which license I need?

Review your intended use against our license options and descriptions outlined on our Licensing page.

Can I use an Eazy font in a client logo?

Yes—designing a logo is included under the Desktop License. Use of the logo on signage, print materials (letterheads, business cards, packaging), or promotional giveaways (tote bags, etc.( is covered by the Desktop License. You may convert letters to outlines and modify them in vector software (like Adobe Illustrator), but editing the font file itself to create a new font is not permitted under the EULA.

Can I upgrade my license later?

No, you cannot upgrade a license after purchase. However, you can purchase additional licenses or extensions to cover expanded uses. Please review your intended use against our license descriptions on our Licensing page.

What happens if I exceed my license limits?

Desktop Licenses:

Desktop Licenses are limited by the number of users permitted under your license agreement. If you exceed this limit, you must purchase additional licenses to cover the extra users.

Web Licenses:

If your website exceeds the number of unique monthly visitors allowed by your license for three consecutive months, you’ll need to purchase an upgraded license that reflects your actual traffic. We may monitor web usage to ensure compliance.

App Licenses:

App licenses are based on the total number of people involved in the design, development, and production of your app, software, or digital platform. This includes designers, developers, UX/UI specialists, and other contributors. If your team grows beyond  the number of users covered by your license, you are required to upgrade your license to reflect the new team size to maintain compliance.

Can I exchange a Desktop license for a Web or App license?

No. Font licenses are platform-specific and cannot be transferred or converted between desktop, web, or app use. A separate license must be purchased for each platform.

I bought a Web or App license. Can you provide Desktop fonts for comping purposes?

No. To create mockups and comps, use our free trials or purchase a Desktop License.

If I have a License, does that allow me to resell Eazy Fonts?

No, Eazy Fonts may not be resold, redistributed, or leased under any license (Desktop, Web, App, Trial, Custom, or otherwise). You may purchase a license on a client’s behalf, but the license must below to the end user/client, and no profit may be made from the fonts.

Desktop

What does a Desktop License allow?

A Desktop License allows you to install and use the font on a specified number of computers for the purpose of creating static designs such as logos, print materials, packaging, social media graphics, PDFs, and more.

The fonts can be used in any program that accesses system-installed fonts (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office). However, this license does not allow you to embed the font in websites, apps, and digital products.

If you need to use the font beyond desktop-based design—such as for websites, apps, or embedding– you’ll need a different license. Please Contact Us to discuss your specific needs.

What do I receive when I purchase your desktop fonts?

Upon successful payment, you’ll instantly get a link to download a .zip file containing the font files—OpenType (OTF) for standard fonts and TrueType (TTF) for variable fonts.

You can also access your orders and downloads anytime by signing into your Eazy Fonts account with the email used for purchase.

What if I need a license for a number of users that isn’t listed?

Our licenses are based on a user tiers (up to 4, up to #, #-#, etc.) You will need to choose the license tier that covers the total number of users who will install and use the fonts. For example, if you have 8 users, you’ll need to purchase the license for the ‘up to #10 user’ tier. Please review our Licensing options carefully. Please Contact Us ff your number of users exceeds the highest listed tier, you need enterprise, or multi-entity coverage to ensure proper licensing and legal compliance.

Do I need one license per location or per user/workstation?

If your company is a single corporate entity with multiple locations, you can use one license for all sites, as long as it covers the total number of users/workstations using the fonts. Refer to our End User License Agreements on our Licensing page for full details, including rules on centralized font servers.

Do all users need to be in the same location?

No, users don’t need to be in the same physical place, but they must be employed by you or otherwise authorized to use the fonts on your behalf for the specified project.

Each licensed user may install the fonts on any device they need for the specific project they are working on with your company or organization.

Do all devices need to be in the same location?

No, the devices don’t need to be in the same place. However, they must be owned by you or by something you’ve authorized to use the fonts.

“Device(s)” include desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones — anything used to install, run, and display the Fonts.

I have a Desktop License, can I use the fonts on a website?

No, the Desktop License does not permit web use. To use Eazy Fonts on a website, you’ll need to purchase a separate Web Font License, which includes the correct file formats for web embedding. Desktop fonts may only be used online in static images, such as.jpg or .png files.

I have a Desktop License, can I share font files with a printer?

Yes, you may temporarily supply desktop font files to a printer when necessary—but this does not grant the printer the rights to the Desktop License. You are responsible for taking responsible steps to ensure that once the job is complete the printer must delete all copies of the fonts from their devices and storage—including email.

Can I install the Fonts on an iPad?

No, Eazy can not be installed on iPads at this time. While Apple allows third-party fonts on iOS via dedicated apps, Eazy does not currently offer or support an app for font installation on iOS devices and prohibits you from using another app for these purposes.

Can I modify vectorized characters from Eazy retail font(s) to create a logo?

Yes, you can, but only under specific conditions. You must first purchase a Desktop Font License for the font you intend to use. You’re then allowed to convert selected characters to outlines and modify them for use in a logo. You are strictly prohibited to alter or modify the font software and font file itself. All use must remain fully compliant with the terms of the Desktop Font License on our Licensing page.

Do you track how many users are using the fonts?

For Desktop use, no—we do not and will not track your users. We operate on an honor system, and trust you to stay within the number of users covered by your license. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance. If your team  grows, we offer straightforward upgrade options.

For Web use, we may monitor font usage through watermarked webfont files. This helps us verify that licenses are being used appropriately. The watermark is static and non-invasive—it solely exists to help us verify licensing if ever needed.

We’ve worked hard to keep our licensing fair and straightforward–and we rely on your integrity to support that approach.

Can the fonts be used within software subscription services like Adobe Creative Cloud?

Yes, the fonts can be installed and used within software subscription platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Figma.

How do I access the OpenType features in Eazy Fonts?

Open Type feature support varies widely between applications, so consult your application’s manual for guidance. You can explore the OpenType features for each of our fonts directly on their respective pages using the type tester.

Web

What does a Web License allow?

A Web License allows you to embed the font on your website using CSS @font-face, enabling the font to display properly for visitors through web font formats such as WOFF or WOFF2.

The license is typically based on your website’s monthly unique visitors, and it covers use on one domain (unless otherwise specified by Eazy Fonts). You’ll receive webfont files in WOFF and WOFF2 format.

This license does not permit use of the font in desktop design software, mobile apps, digital ads, or any product where the font is embedded outside a website. For those uses, separate licenses are required. Please review our Licensing page for more information.

Will I need to renew my Web License annually?

No. Our Web Licenses are perpetual, requiring only a one-time payment for use within the licensed terms. You’ll only need to upgrade if you add more domains or if your pageviews  exceed your licensed limit for three (3) consecutive months.

What counts as a web domain, and when do I need a separate Web license?

Under our Web License, a “Domain” refers to the main address of a website—specifically the portion that identifies it as a distinct site. This typically means:

If your organization operates multiple websites with different second-level domains—for example, example.com and example.org—each of those domains is treated as a separate website, and each one requires its own Web Font License.

Subdomains (like shop.example.com and blog.example.com) can be covered under a single license, as long as they are part of the same main domain and are owned and controlled by your organization.

You must own the domain and control the content of the website where the fonts are used. This applies to your public-facing websites only. Internal or intranet sites that are owned and operated by your business are exempt from this naming rule—but must still be covered by your overall web font license.

The license must reflect the total average monthly unique users or page views across all licensed sites. If your usage grows, you’ll need to update your license accordingly.

I have a site with both a .com and a .co.fr address. Does that count as two domains?

Yes. Each top-level domain (e.g., .com, .org, .net, .co.uk) is considered a separate domain under our Web License.

How is Web License usage calculated—by pageviews or users?

Web Licensing is based on either your average monthly page views or monthly unique users—you can choose the metric that best suits your needs. However, once you’ve selected a metric, you cannot switch later, so please choose carefully.

  • A page view is counted each time a page on your website is loaded
  • To calculate your average monthly page views, total page views over any three consecutive months, then divide by three.

You’ll need to purchase a license tier that covers the average volume of traffic for the number of page views.

What if my website’s page views don’t match the tiers listed on your website?

Web font licenses are sold in fixed usage tiers based on monthly page views or unique users. You must select the tier that covers your website’s average monthly usage. These tiers are fixed and non-negotiable. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use remains within the licensed range as defined in the Web Font License Agreement.

If you also use the web fonts for email marketing or dynamic web-based advertising your license must include the total of all relevant metrics — average monthly page views or unique users, plus active email subscribers and/or advertising impressions. If your total usage exceeds your current license, you must upgrade to the appropriate tier.

Can I use the web fonts on my draft or staging site?

Yes. Web fonts may be used in a secure staging or development environment, provided all terms of the Web Font License Agreement—specifically Section 3g—are met.

3g. Development Environment: You may use the Fonts in a secure development environment under Your control, solely for work related to the App on Your Sales Receipt. You may provide Font files to your app developer to style text on Your App, ensuring they comply with Section 3d, 3e, and all other license terms. Upon completion, the developer must delete all Font files in their possession, from their devices and electronic storage, including email and You agree to take reasonable steps to verify this.

The staging site must be used only for developing or testing the licensed domain. You may share the font files with your web developer solely for this purpose., ensuring they follow all license requirements. When development is complete, the developer must permanently remove all copies of the font files from their devices and storage.

What will I receive after I purchase your web fonts?

After completing your payment, you’ll receive an email download link for a .zip folder containing the web font files in Web Open Font Format 2.0 (WOFF2). You will also receive a download link in your order confirmation email and within a second, separate download(s) email.

You can also access your order and re-download the fonts anytime through your Eazy account by signing with the email address used for your purchase.

What CSS setup do you recommend for using the web fonts?

We recommend defining your web fonts using the following CSS:

@font-face {
font-family: 'EZFontFamily';
src: url('EZFontFamily-Regular.woff2') format('woff2');
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}

@font-face {
font-family: 'EZFontFamily';
src: url('EZFontFamily-RegularItalic.woff2') format('woff2');
font-weight: normal;
font-style: italic;
}

.FontFamily {
font-family: 'EZFontFamily';
}

.FontFamily-italic {
font-family: 'EZFontFamily';
font-style: italic;
}

Replace ‘EZFontFamily’ with the actual font family name, such as EZ Rover or EZ Anhem.

If I have a Web Font License, can I also use the fonts on desktop computers?

No. The Web Font License does not permit desktop use, and web font files are not compatible with desktop applications. To use the fonts on a desktop computer, you must purchase a separate Desktop Font License and download the appropriate desktop file formats from Eazy.

Can I share the web fonts with my web developer?

Yes. You may provide the web font files to your web developer solely for the purchase of styling text on your licensed website, provided both parties comply with Section 3d of the Web Font License Agreement and all other license terms.

3d. Web Fonts File Protection: You agree to take reasonable steps to ensure Web Fonts are used solely for styling text on Your Website. Reasonable measures include, but are not limited to: (a) preventing unlicensed third-party access such as hotlinking; and (b) restricting direct downloads of the Fonts unrelated to their use for styling Your Website’s text.

You must take reasonable steps to ensure the fonts are used only for your website and are protected from unauthorized access or downloading. Once development is complete, your developer must permanently delete all copies of the font files from their devices and storage systems.

Why do the desktop fonts look different from the web fonts?

Font rendering can vary between desktop and web environments due to differences in operating systems, applications, and browser rendering engines. For instance, fonts may appear differently in Adobe InDesign, Apple Pages, or browsers like Firefox. These variations are a result of platform-specific rendering and cannot be controlled by the font itself.

We recommend downloading and testing our trial fonts to ensure they display as expected across both desktop and web environments before purchasing a license.

Can I use Eazy fonts through third-party web font services like Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts?

No. Eazy fonts are not available via third-party web font services and cannot be used through them.

What type of font license do I need if I want to use the fonts in online advertising, such as web banners?

It depends on how the fonts are used:

  • Static images (e.g., JPG or PNG banners): A Desktop Font License covers this use
  • Dynamic or live fonts served within online ads: You must purchase a Web Font License. The license must cover the total number of monthly ad impressions, in addition to any page views or unique users on your website. If your total usage exceeds your current license, you will need to upgrade. If the Web Font License is purchased solely for dynamic advertising, it must still be tied to a web domain for licensing records.

For a full overview of all licensing options, please visit our Licensing page for more information.

What type of font license do I need to use the fonts in external email communications?

To use Eazy fonts in email campaigns sent to an external subscriber database (e.g., via Mailchimp or Constant Contact), you must purchase a Web Font License. The license must cover the number of active email subscribers in your database, in addition to any page views or unique users on your website. If your total usage exceeds your current license, you will need to upgrade.

If the license is purchased solely for email marketing, it still needs to be tied to a web domain for licensing records. Note that some email clients (e.g., Gmail) may not support web fonts, in which case fallback fonts will be displayed.

For a full overview of all licensing options, please visit our Licensing page for more information.

App

What does an App License allow?

An App License permits the use of the font within a specific app, software, or digital platform. This includes embedding the font in the user interface, menus, and other on-screen elements as part of the final product.

Licensing is typically based on the size of the creative and technical team involved in the project–such as designers, developers, and other contributors who use the font during development and production.

The license covers distribution of the app to end users but does not authorize use outside the licensed app or sharing of font files.

For use across multiple apps, platforms, or larger teams, an upgraded or custom license may be required.  Please review our Licensing page for more information.

Will I need to renew my App License annually?

No. Our App Licenses are perpetual, requiring only a one-time payment for use within the licensed terms. You’ll only need to upgrade if you plan to use the fonts in additional apps beyond those covered by your current license.

How do you define a single App?

For licensing purposes, a single app is defined as software developed for one or more mobile operating systems—such as iOS, Android, or Windows Mobile— that shares the same name and functionality across platforms. One App License covers all equivalent versions on different operating systems.

If I have a Web Font License, can I use the fonts in an App?

No. The Web Font license does not permit embedding fonts mobile or other apps. App usage requires a separate App Font License, and you must download the correct font file formats designed for app use.

What will I receive after I purchase Eazy app fonts?

After completing your purchase, you’ll receive an immediate download of a .zip folder containing the app font files in TrueType Format (TTF).

You will also receive a download link in your order confirmation email and within a second, separate download(s) email.

You can also access your order and re-download the fonts anytime through your Eazy account by signing with the email address used for your purchase.

Do I need a separate App Font License for an app that works across multiple platforms?

No. An app that runs on multiple platforms (e.g., iOS, Android, Windows) counts as a single app under our App Font License. However, if you create more than one app, each additional app requires its own separate license.

What types of apps are covered by the App Font License?

Eazy app fonts can be used in mobile, desktop, or web applications. A single App Font License covers apps that are functionally equivalent across multiple platforms and operating systems.

Can I use the fonts in an iPhone, iPad, or Android app?

Yes. All of our fonts can be used in mobile apps with either a App License. If your usage doesn’t fit standard Web or App terms, contact support@eazyfonts.com for guidance.

If the fonts appear only as static text in images or PDFs (such as in publications made with Adobe), your Desktop License covers this use, as long as the creating users are licensed.

An App License is only needed when the fonts themselves are embedded to render live text within the app.

Can I use an App License for server-based PDF or image generation?

No. Server use, including generating PDFs or other image and text files, requires a separate license. Please contact ez@eazyfonts.com for custom Licensing details.

Can I use App License fonts for desktop comps or on our website?

No. Fonts licensed for app use may only be embedded in your app or used during its development. To create comps, you’ll need a Desktop License, and to use the fonts on a website, a Web License is required.

App fonts are licensed per app, by the number of users on the creative, design, development, and deployment team.

Do I need an App License if my app only uses fonts in embedded PDFs, not as live text?

No. This use is covered under a Desktop License.

Can I share the App fonts with a developer?

Yes. You may provide app font files to your developer as long as they’re covered under the number of team members listed on your selected license tier. Both parties must comply with Section 3d  of the App Font License and all other license terms. You must take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access or use.

3d. App Font File Protection: You agree to take all reasonable precautions to protect the App Fonts from access, use, or extraction by unlicensed or unauthorized third-parties. Such measures include, but are not limited to: (a) ensuring the Fonts are embedded securely within Your Application and not exposed for separate download or use; and (b) preventing access to the Fonts outside of their intended function within the licensed Application. If You become aware of any unauthorized access to, or use of, the App Fonts by a third-party, You must notify Eazy as soon as reasonably possible.

Do you have fonts I can test?

You may not use the font in any published, public, or client-facing work, nor may you modify, distribute, or embed it. Font Info

What is included in your standard character set?

The character set varies by family, depending on the OpenType features included in each design, but at minimum it supports most Western and Central European languages using the Latin alphabet. To check the full character set and supported languages for a specific family, visit the font page. You can also use the type tester functionality on the page to confirm the characters you need are supported.

Why don’t my web fonts appear vertically centered?

The position of text within a bounding box depends on several independent factors

  1. Typeface proportions: Each font family has its own unique design characteristics – including x-height, ascender, descender, and capital heights. These proportions vary widely from one typeface to another, so the vertical position of text will differ naturally. There are no universal standards for how fonts must align.
  2. Platform-specific rendering: Fonts include multiple sets of internal vertical metric values that tell software how to align text. Operating systems, browsers, and design applications interpret these values differently, so the same font can appear slightly offset across platforms. This variation is inherent to how text rendering engines work.
  3. Font optimization: Our fonts are configured with vertical metrics that prioritize consistency across a family and prevent clipping of accents or tall glyphs. This ensures reliable display on most platforms, even if exact centering isn’t possible everywhere.

Currently, web font files cannot be customized to adjust vertical metrics for visual centering, as they are already optimized for performance and compatibility across diverse and ever-changing environments.

Where can I learn more about the design of an Eazy font?

We share design insight and inspiration on each of our retail typeface pages. Explore our font collection to learn more about our fonts.

Which languages do Eazy Fonts support?

Language support varies between Eazy fonts. To confirm which languages are included, check the “Supported Languages” section on each font’s page.

We also recommend using the type tester—you can copy and paste your own text to make sure all characters display correctly before purchasing.

If you need additional language coverage, contact support@eazyfonts.com to discuss a custom commission.

Where can I see Eazy Fonts in use?

Explore each font page In Use section to see how international brands, institutions, agencies, studios, and businesses of all sizes use Eazy Fonts in their design projects and brand identities.
